Organic Hair Care is a growing trend amongst the upper middle class. Shoppers have become more educated and made the decision to support green living in a permanent way. Todays commercial soaps and shampoos have many harsh and toxic chemicals in their formulations. This site exists to help educate people about the effects of the chemicals and to show them great organic hair products to replace them with. Should you come across a great product or have a great story, please send contributions to admin@organichaircare.org |

Natural BeautyThe most beautiful things in the world come from nature. Have you ever wondered why many paintings and photos are of the outdoors? A sunset, the forest, a tropical island, and the ocean are all examples of beauty. We don't try and change those things, we just appreciate them for what they are.The other great thing about natural beauty is that it connects you to your source or God. You can feel a sense of awe and inspiration from beautiful things. We don't try and change those things. We look to them for inspiration and love. With out bodies, it is no different. The natural body is more beautiful than any man made imitation. In our culture, we have many things to contend with. Marketing effects our brains and makes us think certain things make us look good. The truth is that nature is what made you beautiful and it is up to us to recognize it. With beauty products and hair the concept is the same. Some people worry that the natural hair shampoo won't be bubbly enough or that their hair gel won't be stiff enough. Other people worry that they will be a little different than mainstream society. To these people, it is important to keep in mind that the true beauty lies in nature and that nature doesn't lie in sodium laureth sulfate and titanium dioxide. People make one erroneous assumption that they are not affected that much by society and culture. In fact numerous studies have shown that people totally underestimate marketing effectiveness and cultural norms. The real power lies in thinking to yourself. Should I put some bad crap into my system to save a few bucks or not? And, always remember that the real beauty is in nature. |
